An old man walks along a beach and sees a young boy throwing something into the water. As he approaches, he sees hundreds of starfish lining the beach, washed in from the tide. The young boy is rushing around, throwing the starfish back into the water one by one. The old man asks why he bothers, it’s pointless. There are too many starfish to help them all. As he flings a starfish deep into the water, the young boy replies, “It mattered to that one.”
Moral of the story-
WHETHER IT’S A HUNDRED PEOPLE YOU HELP OR ONE… IT MATTERS! You can not End the Trend of Obesity in one big motion. YOU must reach out to one person at a time and teach them to do the same. I remember when I first signed up as a Beachbody coach thinking how cool it would be just to help change even one person’s life. Let your light shine and brighten the life of somebody in need. It starts with one person. You never know how many people’s lives will be changed in the long run. You make a splash in just one person’s life and you may never see how far the ripple effect goes.
