Our Newest Gift from God- Baby Caelum

Our Newest Gift from God- Baby Caelum

Well it is Sunday night and baby Caelum is sound asleep with his Mommy.  He was born at 12:15 pm on September 16th 2012.  He weighed 7lbs 5 ounces and was 21″ long.  I feel like my family has been blessed beyond anything we have ever imagined in these past few months.  It was only 4 months ago that I left my full-time day job to come home and be a stay-at-home-dad.  Sometimes I sit here and wonder how this blessing fell into our lives.  Being able to cuddle my girls when they wake up, put them down for naps, and to put them to bed everyday is priceless. Not having to ask for work off tomorrow adds to the list of how we feel blessed.  I would go through all the struggle of rejection ALL OVER AGAIN if I had to, knowing what life is like when you can live it to it’s fullest potential.   I have a mission and a purpose to provide this opportunity to other parents that are just like Gabby and I.  It almost seems surreal that I am sitting here on a Sunday night with out a worry in the world about how we are going to take care of this newest addition to our family.  It was 18 months ago when Elina Lucia was born and we were stressed out about how to pay the bills after we got home with Gabby not working and myself missing a few days of work.  This year our only worry is whether to fly or to drive to California for our Beachbody Leadership Retreat this upcoming week.  I feel free to take in the beauty of his birth and the peaceful feeling of being round him.

Caelum’s sisters are VERY excited to have a little brother and Daddy is beyond thrilled to have a son.  I LOVE the outdoors and I am very excited to teach him all of the great things my Father and Grandfather taught me.  I want to say thank you to the hundreds of messages and comments we got today on Facebook and in our email.  Te love we can feel from you guys is overwhelming so thank you from the bottom of our hearts.  We are here for you as friends and family so thank you again.  Put your faith in God and know that you can achieve anything in this life that you put your mind to.

“This is my command,  Be strong and courageous!  Do not be afraid or discouraged for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
