CLEAN EATING PRINCIPLES
How many of you are looking for clean eating principles? A simplified way to look at how to eat and how to properly fuel your body with he nutrients it needs. Following these 13 simple clean eating principles will help you get started on your new healthier lifestyle without confusing you along the way. For those f you that know me and have been friends for awhile know that I add in Shakeology into my day to help even more with this process of eating healthy and clean. 1. Eat 5-6 small meals everyday
2. Eat every 2-3 hours
3. Combine lean protein and complex carbs at every meal.
4. Drink at least 8 cups of water a day
5. Never miss a meal especially breakfast
6. Carry healthy snacks with you on the go
7. Avoid all over-processed foods, refined foods, white flour and sugar
8. Avoid all saturated and trans fats
9. Avoid sugar loaded soda and juices
10. Consume adequate healthy fats each day
11. Avoid alcohol-another form of sugar
12. Depend on fresh fruits and vegetables for fiber, vitamins, and enzymes
13. Stick to proper portion size-give up super sizing
